Getting Started with noprod
Download the free app, pick your AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini), and build your website. No coding needed.
Create a project
After signing up and logging in, you'll land on your Dashboard. This is where all your projects live.
Click the New Project button on your dashboard.
Give your project a name (e.g. "my-portfolio"). A URL slug is generated automatically — your site will be live at your-name.noprod.dev.
Hit Create. noprod provisions a cloud workspace for you — this takes about 30–60 seconds. You'll see a progress indicator with each step.
Wait for your AI agent and server to start
After creating your project, you're taken to the Workspace view. A few things happen behind the scenes:
Your cloud machine boots up
A dedicated virtual machine spins up with your template project, database, and all tools pre-installed.
The web server starts
Your site is live immediately at your-slug.noprod.dev with a starter template.
Your AI agent launches automatically
The left panel opens with your AI agent already running — ready for your instructions.
You'll see a loading spinner with "Getting things ready..." while the machine boots. Once everything is up, the AI agent and preview panel appear side by side.
Login to your AI agent
When your AI agent starts for the first time, it needs to connect to your account. For Claude, that's your Anthropic account; for ChatGPT, your OpenAI account. Here's what the login looks like:
Claude login (Anthropic subscription)
To sign in to your Anthropic account, open this URL:
https://claude.ai/oauth/authorize?...
Waiting for authentication...
ChatGPT login (OpenAI subscription)
Log in with ChatGPT at:
https://auth.openai.com/authorize?...
Waiting for authentication...
From a computer
Click the login URL shown in your workspace — or copy and paste it into your browser.
Sign in with your Anthropic or OpenAI account (or create one for free).
Authorize the connection. Your workspace will detect it automatically and your AI agent is ready to go.
After logging in once, your session is remembered. You won't need to log in again unless the session expires.
Start building
Once your AI agent is logged in, you're in. Just type what you want in text and hit Enter. No coding required.
Example prompts to try
Your agent reads your project files, makes the changes, and refreshes the preview — all automatically. You see the result in real time on the right panel.
Use prepared skills
Your workspace comes with pre-installed skills that give your AI agent extra knowledge about specific topics. Think of them as superpowers — your agent already knows how to use them.
ui-ux-pro-max
67 design styles, 96 color palettes, 57 font pairings. Makes your site look professional.
payment-integration
Add payments with Stripe, Polar, Paddle, SePay, or Creem. Checkout, subscriptions, QR codes.
sqlite
Database queries, schema changes, and data management with SQLite.
Skills work automatically — your agent uses them when relevant. But you can also ask your agent to use a specific skill by mentioning it:
Use /ui-ux-pro-max
The /ui-ux-pro-max skill is your go-to tool for making your site look amazing. It has a massive library of design styles, color palettes, and font combinations that your AI agent can apply to your project.
How to use it
Type /ui-ux-pro-max followed by what you want in your workspace:
/ui-ux-pro-max redesign my landing page with a modern SaaS lookApplies a professional SaaS color palette, typography, and layout
/ui-ux-pro-max make it glassmorphism with a purple paletteAdds frosted glass effects with purple color scheme
/ui-ux-pro-max add a pricing section with bento grid layoutCreates a trendy bento-style pricing grid
/ui-ux-pro-max review my site for accessibility issuesChecks contrast, focus states, alt text, touch targets, and more
What it knows
Glassmorphism, brutalism, minimalism, neumorphism, bento grid, dark mode...
Organized by product type — SaaS, e-commerce, healthcare, fintech...
Google Fonts combinations — heading + body pairs that work together.
It also checks for accessibility (contrast ratios, focus states, touch targets), responsive layout, animations, and performance — all automatically.
What happens when you stop
When you're done working, you can stop your workspace from the dashboard. Here's what happens behind the scenes:
Suspend, not stop
noprod uses suspend instead of a full stop. This preserves your in-memory state so your workspace wakes up faster — usually in just a few seconds.
Dashboard shows "Sleeping"
Your workspace card on the dashboard will show a Sleeping badge. Click it and hit Start to wake it up.
7-day auto-cleanup
Workspaces that stay suspended for more than 7 days are automatically destroyed to free up resources. Your project files are not recoverable after this.
